Weirdo's Weekly Update — 21 Nov, 2022

Traveling update

We are back in Bangkok and will stay here for another month. The time in Phnom Penh was great, this time, we only managed to explore the city, but we will return to Cambodia soon to see more. The trip there was a perfect combination of a Visa run and adding a new country to the list.

It's so great to cruise around SE Asia. The overall vibe is so relaxing and positive. Being abroad helps me to declutter my brain and focus, and it's easier to move work-related things forward, which gives me a great feeling.

We moved to a new area in Bangkok called Khlong Tan, in The Lumpini 24 tower, where we have excellent amenities, a great pool on the 41st floor, a gym, a co-working space, and great views of Bangkok.

We usually look for places around Sky Train (BTS) as it makes it easier to move around the city. Traffic in Bangkok is crazy, so the fastest way to get around is with the BTS or scooter taxis, which can conveniently move around traffic jams.

We use the Grab app for transportation, food, and grocery delivery. You can also use it for some different services or payments, but you need a bank account in Thailand for that.

Cryptos

This week L2 rollup StarkNet deployed their $STRK token on the Ethereum mainnet. The Token is ready for distribution. This is a significant milestone in this promising layer two project.According to this Dune Dashboard, around 62000 Users have already bridged ETH to StarkNet.

Tool of the week

This week's tool from my toolbelt is Canva.

Canva helps us create visuals without needing graphic designer skills or inspiration. You can create social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos, blog post images, and much more. This makes it a great help, especially when working on your business and looking to save money on design pieces.

With their free plan, you can already access many templates and images; if that's not sufficient, you can always opt for the paid Canva Pro.

Something to think about

James Clear

"Power is influence over external events.

Peace is influence over internal events."

Do I need to spend more time searching for better information or do I need to spend more time acting on the information I already have? Is the bottleneck strategy or execution?

An idea from Atomic Habits:

"When you fall in love with the process rather than the product, you don't have to wait to give yourself permission to be happy. You can be satisfied anytime your system is running."
